Benoni radio presenter, Paul Rotherham, described on Twitter and Facebook how his wife Zina Lee Rotherham was shot and injured in an attempted hijacking in Alexandra on June 27 2012. She is recovering well. ---------- 28 June 2012 He described on Twitter and Facebook how his wife Zina, a professional make-up expert for the entertainment industry, was shot by apparent hijackers and suffered two gunshot wounds, one to the stomach and another one to the hand. The first bullet was removed from her abdomen late Wednesday night. The injuries to her stomach were superficial with no serious damage. The second shot struck her hand and exited through her wrist and the bullet that damaged her hand is still somewhere in her car. On Friday night she underwent an operation on her the hand.Paul's Facebook and Twitter message to his supporters reads as follows: "Zina is a little pack of dynamite and I've no doubts whatsoever that she'll be back to her old self soon, even though we know that the journey ahead is going to be tough emotionally and perhaps physically too. Both Zina and I are extremely grateful for all your support and encouragement.It is physically impossible to reply to each posting, Tweet and Facebook message, but please know that I have read them all and passed on your love and wishes to Zina.
