A 57-year-old farmer was robbed of an undisclosed amount of money at his farm in Litchtenburg, North West police said on Saturday.
Sergeant Philani Nkwalase said the farmer was robbed on Friday, after returning from town.
He said the farmer allegedly withdrew money from a bank and went to buy some groceries.
"On his arrival at his farm house while busy unloading the groceries, two unknown suspects arrived driving a silver golf. The two armed suspects overpowered and pepper sprayed the victim and took off with his groceries and the undisclosed cash amount."
He said no injuries were reported and the two were still at large. -Sapa
