2010-09-25 Stellenbosch student Wade van der Struys, 21, face mutilated from axe attack by black motorists http://jv.news24.com/Regional_Papers/Components/Category_Article_Text_Template/0,,387-391-392_2585181~E,00.html
8/10/2010 - (SA) Elsabé van Heerden - Stellenbosch University student Wade van der Struys, 21, was admitted to hospital in a critical condition after being hit in the face with an axe.
The incident occurred on the R44 next to the Cloetesville J-Flats at 14:55 on 25 September but only came to light recently.

SAPS Sgt. Zenobia Sedeman of the Cloetesville police said that Afrikaner students Wade van der Struys (21) and Jian Viljoen were driving along the R44 when a white vehicle with black people pulled up next to them at the Helshoogte robot.
As the two Afrikaner students neared the flats, both vehicles pulled off the road.
Wade was pulled from the vehicle and hit through the face with an axe. His cheekbone and jaw were shattered and the axe also cut through his teeth.
Wade's brother, Tyran, was driving in front of them and made a U-turn when he saw what was happening.
'We were driving in the direction of Welgevonden. We had just come from the Fresh Goods Market and were on our way home,' said Tyran. 'I saw Jian talking to the people in the car next to them and I realised that they seemed aggressive, so kept loo?king back.
'I then saw both vehicles pull off the road and I immediately turned the car around. I kept watching for oncoming traffic, so all I saw next was Jian running to help my brother, but two women were attacking him as he tried to get to the other side of the car.'
There was an older (black) male, with three younger men and two women in the group, but the blacks fled the scene when Tyran approached.
Wade was admitted to the Stellenbosch Medi-Clinic, but later moved to Vergelegen Medi-Clinic in Somerset West in a critical condition. He had to undergo three hours of reconstructive surgery.

Wade, who is now recovering on his family's farm in the Eastern Cape, wrote on his Facebook wall this week:
'Doc's final report: Shattered jaw, 5 teeth broken/missing, cut/scar from corner of my mouth to my cheek bone with 12 stitches on the outside and many more inside the mouth... Doc's extra report: Be glad you?re here, 'lil deeper and you wouldn't be.'
He also writes: "to the person who beat me with a axe, i hope somehow you die a very slow painful death today... if not today, at least tomorrow.."

According to his brother, Wade received a total of 28 stitches and two surgical plates had to be inserted into his left upper jaw.
The police are investigating a case of assault, but no arrests have been made.
Anyone with information may contact Serg. Zenobia Sedeman at 021 888 5940 or Det. Const. Christine Julius at 021 809 5062.

SIXTY percent of SAPS force booked off 885,028 days "non-injury sick leave" in 2009

2010-10-06 CAPE TOWN - Lizel Steenkamp of Beeld newspaper reports that the taxpayers had to fork over more than R550-million in non-injury-related sick-leave for 112,690 of the country's 190,199 SAPS employees. This is an indication that the working-age South Africans suffer extensively from AIDS and/or TB, the two epidemics which are ravaging South Africa. According to the SAPS annual report for 2009, sixty percent of its entire work-force had booked off on a total 885,028 days for "ordinary' sick-leave related to diseases and ailments between January 1 and 31 December last year - 72,572 days without any letter from a doctor. Estimated cost in lost man-hours: R387-million.

Illegal arrests of Afrikaner-whites rampant

http://censorbugbear-reports.blogspot.com/2010/03/gunmen-searched-for-attacked-free-state.html
Our own archives show that false arrests of whites is a growing pattern for the past ten years and getting worse: whites are thrown in police jails on trumped-up charges and non-existent 'violations' and often roughed up by black police officers who often demand bribes. For example: in March 14 this year, the civil-rights movement AfriForum released shocking visual material on M-net TV's programme Carte Blanche showing Pretoria police officers unlawfully yanking around an Afrikaans woman, Magdel Steyn. They carried out an illegal arrest: the Afrikaans woman was accused of double-parking at a PRIVATE parking lot while she in actual fact was still driving around trying to find parking for her car… It’s not known why the Pretoria metropolitan police were present in such large numbers just to arrest one defenceless Afrikaans woman who had done nothing wrong. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2VFtfr54KmI
Nantes Kelder, head of community safety of AfriForum, said the visual material shows shocking images of Steyn’s human rights being violated under the pretense of a very minor traffic violation. AfriForum demanded that the cops involved in the abuse of Mrs Steyn be suspended, or be withdrawn from active policing duties.By October 2010, they were still holding down the same jobs. Kelder encouraged members of the public to tell their stories about incidents of power abuse by police members at www.afriforum.co.za. AfriForum will assist people with legal advice. He said: "these kinds of abuse are primarily due to a lack of discipline and supervision."

2010-10-06 Lizamari de Klerk, 25 and pregnant, in police cell on trumped-up charges

Pretoria - Twenty-five-year-old pregnant Afrikaans woman Lizamari de Klerk was thrown into police cells on Wednesday on a trumped-up 'fraud charge' dating to 2005. rs De Klerk says she knows nothing about the claimed check-fraud and neither the docket nor the investigating officer could be found. She has lived at the same address for the past five years, her phone number has not changed yet she was plucked out of a line waiting to board a flight to Namibia and dumped in the airport police cells. She was detained in a STOREROOM at the Sinoville police station near Pretoria on Wednesday-afternoon. However Beeld newspaper journalist Hilda Fourie cited SAPS spokesman Ben Strydom as claiming that her dates back to a 2005 warrant for the Afrikaans woman about an alleged 'check fraud'.Mrs De Klerk told Beeld - speaking through a small window of the storeroom - that since the warrant was issued five years ago, she has reported three cases to the police, bought two vehicles, opened two bank accounts and was abroad on honeymoon earlier this year. She has been living at the same address for the past five years and her telephone number hasn't changed.Yet in all those five years, the police never bothered to track her down nor informed her about the outstanding warrant.Mrs De Klerk was arrested on Wednesday morning as she was about to go through customs at the Johannesburg International Airport when she and her husband Riaan were planning to board a flight to Windhoek, Namibia for business."No-one wanted to tell me anything. The more I asked them what was going on, the ruder they became. We had to find out on our own that it has to do with cheque fraud."Her deeply upset mom, Mrs Vikki Terblance, 52, said when she heard her daughter had been arrested on Wednesday, the only thing she felt was disbelief."My child isn't a crook." Mrs De Klerk, who is four months pregnant, had to spend Wednesday night behind bars and is scheduled to appear in the Pretoria North Magistrate's Court on Thursday.
