Farm managerAnton Greeff, 50, of the farm Spitskop near Ermelo is in critical condition in a Pretoria hospital after he was attacked by an eight-member black gang. The gang first held Mrs Erica Aucamp at gunpoint. A firefight had then broken out between farm owner Hein Aucamp’s son Hardus, his dad and the gang – and this ended in hand-to-hand combat during which the young Aucamp sustained a nasty bite to a shoulder. Aucamp was shot in the arm and shoulder.
